Trym

Here you can se my 14 weeks old Weimaraner, Trym. He´s a beautiful, kind an playful dog. I got him 28.nov 2009, 8 weeks old and approx 6kg. Now he´s 14 weeks old and over 14kg. So you can say that he´s growing fast. I hope you like him. I can promise you that it´s not the last picture of him on my page.

Slogen panorama

Posting a new picture from a trip to Slogen (1564 meters high) 19.09.2009. Slogen is a mountain rising up from Hjørundfjorden in the municipality of Ørsta in the west of Norway. Even though it is not among the highest peaks in Norway with its 1,564 m it is rated among the top ten mountain walks in Norway, largely due to its beauty, view and the fact that it's rising directly from the fjord. Legend has it that Slogen was first climbed in 1870 by Jon Klokk. Later on that year it was climbed by the famous climber and alpine explorer William Cecil Slingsby. The latter wrote about the view from Slogen as "one of the proudest in Europe". Many famous Norwegians have been on the top, including most notably Sonja, Queen of Norway. (and me! the Queen and I) :)

Kannesteinen

This picture was taken close to the town Måløy in Sogn og Fjordane. The special stone "sculpture" is called Kannesteinen. The Kannestein or Kanne Stone was formed by loose stones and the pounding of the waves over a period of thousands of years, and stands today as a 4 - 5 metre high, narrow-footed rock. This is caused by stones having split loose, which have knocked and gnawed at the rockface until they have become polished and rounded. Loose stones have then worked themselves deeper into the rock. New stones have come, and in time the potholes have become deeper and wider (Wikipedia). Nature amazes me often.. Like Kannesteinen.

I'm a huge fan of panorama pictures. This is from the top of Skårasalen (1542 meters above sea-level). The pictures is made from 5 other pictures, stitched together to form a panorama. The pictures were taken a long time ago, but i still think they are great.

Another picture of water.. hehe.. I tried to capture a beautiful sunset, but I had to take some pictures of the waves crashing against the rocks. Pictures from the sunset will (probably) be posted later. I liked this picture so mutch that I had to post it at once. Another great photoshoot with Tommy
